Hand-fabricated sterling silver ring (size '8') featuring a 5.65 carat blue Peruvian opal cushion-cut cabochon set in 18 karat yellow gold. The star pattern taken directly from radio-telescope images is etched into the shank of the ring and is electro-plated in 18 karat yellow gold as well. The ring is approximately 13-15mm wide.
