This ring was made by gravity-casting 18 karat yellow gold into the carved-out bone of a cuttlefish. The resulting casting was carved and hand-fabricated into a ring with sterling silver inside. The highest grade Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan was then inlaid into a channel and subsequently carved to match the ridges inherent in the Casting. The ring features a 2 carat Australian Opal (Coober Pedy) set in 18 karat yellow gold. The ring measures approximately 20mm wide at the center stone while the shank is between 5-9mm. Ring Size is '6.5'.
